TIMP 5 BOA® continues the success of the Timp 5 by introducing the BOA® Fit System to replace laces, eliminating the problem of laces coming untied while running. It comes with PerformFit™ Wrap technology used on the instep, helping to lock the heel, increasing stability, control, and allowing freedom of movement at the toe. The fit is perfectly adjusted. Paired with EGO™ MAX foam, the 29mm Stack Height provides a soft and comfortable feel, perfect for ultra-trail running. It comes with Vibram® MegaGrip soles that grip all surfaces, whether dry or wet.

TECHNOLOGY

BALANCED CUSHIONING: The design of the shoe sole is even front and back (forefoot vs. heel) like standing barefoot in shoes. It does not distort the natural human body and promotes midfoot running, which is the most sustainable running posture.

BOA® TECHNOLOGY: The BOA Fit System is a system that allows you to adjust the fit of the shoe precisely. It features PerformFit™ Wrap technology that is designed for stability and easy control. The modern design allows athletes to customize the fit to suit every movement.

FOOTSHAPE™ TOE BOX: The design provides enough space at the front of the shoe for the toes to spread out naturally with every running step, without squeezing the toes together, providing stability and promoting midfoot landings.

MIDSOLE - EGO™ MAX: Altra's new foam sole is a blend of two compound materials with different properties in a unique proportion and formula. The result is the softest cushioning in the EGO™ family of foams.

OUTSOLE- VIBRAM® MEGAGRIP™: Outsole using high-quality rubber technology from Vibram, designed to be a unique grip button to increase grip efficiency on all surfaces, whether wet or dry. It is also durable and does not wear out easily.
