BALANCED CUSHIONING The design of the shoe sole is even front and back (forefoot vs. heel) like standing barefoot in shoes. It does not distort the natural human body and promotes midfoot landing, which is the most sustainable running posture.

FOOTSHAPE™ TOE BOX The design of the front of the shoe has enough space for the toes to spread out naturally with every running step, without squeezing the toes together, providing stability and promoting midfoot landing.

MIDSOLE - EGO™ PRO The new top-of-the-line foam from Altra, used exclusively in the racing model, is the lightest, most responsive and energy-efficient of the three ALTRA EGO™ patented foams.

CARBITEX™ HALF CARBON PLATE A carbon plate embedded in the EGO™ PRO foam ⅔ from the forefoot not only provides a noticeable, rebounding effect, it also promotes a midfoot and toe-off landing, which is in line with a natural running gait.

ACTIVE STANCE ROCKER Special design with the front of the shoe raised at 65% from the heel to allow the foot to "roll" across the floor efficiently.

UPPER - NEW ENGINEERED MESH Mesh fabric is newly designed for the VANISH CARBON model. It is lightweight, cutting off unnecessary parts, leaving only the necessary parts to reduce weight. It fits snugly on the feet like a sock, is comfortable and flexible.
